Rockwool with it’s shorter fibre strands also provides rockwall insulation with incredible compressive strength. As rigid slabs they are easier to install than other insulation materials and can be fitted tightly together to minimise any possible gaps to maximise thermal performance. The lower density will help with slight imperfections in the substrate whilst the higher density top layer is the perfect surface for the application of the render.
