Buckinghamshire Insulation Scheme

Domestic Building Envelope Energy Efficiency Grant (DBEEE)

What it is?

The Domestic Building Envelope Energy Efficiency (DBEEE) Grant is a new scheme that provides grants of up to £30,000 per eligible household for residents to install energy efficiency measures at their property.

This Buckinghamshire Energy Efficiency Scheme aims to help low income homeowners improve the insulation of their home.

Funding of this level allows homeowners to benefit from upgrades such as External Wall Insulation, which is more costly than other measures.

The DBEEE grant differs from the Home Upgrade Grant (HUG) and cannot be used in conjunction with HUG funding for the same work.

DBEEE primarily focuses on home insulation, as well as window and door upgrades, because these measures significantly enhance energy efficiency. By reducing heat loss, these improvements can substantially lower residents’ future energy bills.

Applications close on 31st December 2024.

Included Measures:

ProGuard Exteriors are accredited installers for all of these measures.
